Cebu & Expo 2020 Flying Emirates First & Business Class
Although I have already made two short trips this year (one to Madeira and one to Vienna), I still haven´t really traveled out of Europe so I was really looking forward to this trip as I will be heading out to South East Asia. I have booked my return flight on Emirates from Frankfurt to Cebu in business class and then upgraded the flights between Frankfurt and Dubai to first class using my Skywards miles. Although I could have easily flown direct from Stockholm with Emirates, I think the first class service on the A380 (being used in one of two daily flights to Frankfurt as of the time of writing) is much more superior than the first class on the B777 being used in Stockholm. The A380 has the shower spa which I think is one of the coolest innovations in aviation history by an airline 😉 Of course the private suite is adorable, the onboard lounge is just lovely (and the list goes on). On the return flight, I booked a stopover in Dubai which would allow me to visit the World Expo in October. Hopefully, all goes well with this trip and that eventually, we all survive this trial which is perhaps one of the toughest challenges the world has to face.
