British Airways Galleries First, Terminal 5
After clearing security, I went straight to the first class lounge and was already by the Galleries First at 5:20pm. In the dining room, I browsed the ala carte menu and ended up ordering the Chicken Hirata Buns.

The chicken hirata buns were fantastic 😋
Boarding, Gate C52
I left the lounge at 6:15pm and waited downstairs until 6:25pm when the gate was shown on the Flight Departure Screen. After learning that it would be from the C gates, I went to take the escalators downstairs, and then took the train.
Taking the train to C gates.

Around 6:39pm, document check was done and a few minutes later, boarding began although we had to wait in the passenger bridge.
It´s boarding time!!!
Aircraft, Airbus A321 (G-EUXD)
The A321 used by British Airways on this flight had a total of 40 seats from rows 1 to 10 in a 2-2 configuration, with the middle seat being blocked as usual.

Pushback & Take Off
At 7:08pm, boarding was completed. The CSM reminded all the passengers to put all the jackets under for quick boarding so we could depart on time, as there is a risk we lose our slot and stay for two hours. A couple of minutes later, the captain came on the PA to give us some flight information ie. our flight time of 1 hour and 55 minutes and taxi time among others.
At 7:16pm, we began our pushback and 4 minutes later, the safety demo was done. Take off was at 7:47pm.
Dining
Minutes after being airborne, the CSM came on the PA to inform us of the drinks and supper service. Economy passengers can purchase items from the M&S menu card but no cash nor debit cards. For business class passengers, there is complimentary dinner.
At 7:57pm about ten minutes after take off, the menu card was offered.
Beverage menu
Around 8:13pm, snacks service began from the back which was done by a young male flight attendant. The CSM eventually helped him and began from the front seats. At 8:30pm, I was served a glass of apple juice and a nut mix 😉 Around 9pm, my meal order was taken and between the British Chicken Supreme, Smoked Aubergine Ravioli and Tikka Marinated British Chicken, I ended up choosing the Chicken Supreme.
Everything was served in a tray.
The British Chicken Supreme was very good 😋
I was also offered some bread and drinks minutes later.

Landing in Stockholm Airport
At 10:10pm Stockholm time, the captain came on the PA to inform us that we would be landing in 30 minutes. At 10:26pm, the captain was back on the PA and informed us that we would be landing in 15 minutes. We landed in Stockholm Airport at 10:44pm, six minutes ahead of schedule and reached our gate 6 minutes later.

CONCLUSION
For a direct flight between London and Stockholm (and for other short haul flights in business class for that matter), I would say that British Airways is the better choice than SAS. The crew were fantastic and the chicken was phenomenal, thanks to DO&CO catering. The young flight attendant in the business class cabin was very professional and friendly and really did a great job serving dinner as the cabin was almost full. He is definitely a treasure for British Airways 👍 Looking forward to my next flight on BA next month 😍
