Business Class Cabin
Seat 8H
The window seats in even numbers are much closer to the window while those in odd numbers are much closer to the aisle.
Personal screen (touch screen) had a very good resolution. From the film selection, I ended up watching Anora.
Noise cancelling headphones, DUX amenity kit, universal power port, headphone socket, USB-A port charger, bottle of water, seat controls
Coat hook, tablet storage
Safety card, air sickness bag

Push back & Take Off
Around 1pm, push back began and 13 minutes later, we were airborne.
Then, the table was set and we were offered some warm cashew nuts. I had a glass of Apple Must while Mike had a glass of bubbly.
I had the organic ice cream lolly from Hansens Is π
Located on the left side of the cabin behind row 8 is the Snacks Bar. This is much better than the snacks bar of Turkish Airlines on their B777s.
About one and a half hours before landing, we were served some coffee or tea, pralines from Hedh-Escalante ...
And a traditional Scandinavian open-faced sandwich (gravad lax on Danish rye bread) and some cut fruits.
We landed in New York JFK Airport at 3:42pm (several minutes ahead of schedule) and reached our gate 8 minutes later.
Menu and drinks
Service began with a hot towel.
Mike had the cheese and Red currant panna cotta tartlet.
After the lovely meal, I continued watching Anora (which won the Best Picture at the Oscars later that day) and then slept for a few hours. The lie-flat bed was okay for me although the foot well was not the most spacious if you are a side sleeper. The pillow and blanket from DUX were comfortable (they used to have HΓ€stens).

Before Landing
About one and a half hours before landing, we were served some coffee or tea, pralines from Hedh-Escalante ...
And a traditional Scandinavian open-faced sandwich (gravad lax on Danish rye bread) and some cut fruits.
I also watched A Real Pain which I thought was a nice movie.
There are 2 lavatories both of which were located behind row 8. The larger lavatory is on the right side, while the smaller one is on the left side.

CONCLUSION
There it was, my first ever long-haul flight with SAS in business class! So how was it? I´d say it was the average business class. The lie-flat seat was very good although my seat got stuck at the beginning of the flight and I had to get help from the FA to fix it. The food was delicious as expected. The personal screen had a very good resolution and film selection was very good. The snacks bar was actually better than what Turkish Airlines offer on their B777 so I am impressed with SAS. Sadly, the amenity kit is average just like what most airlines are offering (my favorites are from Qatar Airways, EVA Air and Emirates). Lastly, service was very friendly. Overall, it was a very nice flight with SAS and will definitely look forward to flying more with them in the future, especially with the 1M points I got from them π
