British Airways Galleries First, Terminal 5
I had a short connection in London Heathrow and after security went straight to the Galleries First Lounge located in the South Concourse to have some green tea.
Galleries first buffet and ala carte offering
I left the lounge around 10:50am for the departure gate.

Boarding, Gate A12
I had priority boarding with my business class ticket and BA gold status so I was among those who got on the plane first.
Business Class Cabin
The business class cabin consists of (economy like) seats from rows 1 to 4 in a 2-2 configuration. All of 24 seats on this flight were occupied.
Seat map of the business cabin with seats B and E being blocked for privacy 👍
Seat 2A
In front of my seat is the Ronda magazine and safety card as well as the wifi and USB signage.
110V power outlet and USB socket located under the middle armrest.
Coat hook
Foldable tray
Seat pocket
Duty free magazine, air sickness bag
Ronda magazine and A321 safety card
The Ronda magazine featuring some travel tips on Marrakech was perfect for me 👍
Pushback & Taxi
The safety demonstration began at 11:36am and 2 minutes later we began our pushback.

The B747 with the BOAC livery and tail number G-BYGC about to fly to Boston 😍
We took off at 11:54am. Around 12:19pm, the captain came on the PA to give us some flight information and that we would be landing in Madrid at 2:50pm.
Dining
Moments after the seatbelt sign was turned off, the crew started with the lunch service. There was no menu card offered but we were informed that there was a choice between a beef burger or pasta. I chose the latter.
The pasta actually was very good 😋
I was also offered some bread and something to drink. I asked for apple juice but they only had pineapple juice so I declined. I also had a cup of green tea after my pasta. As usual, bread and drinks refill were offered.
Wifi
Iberia wifi
For the whole flight, one can access wifi for 9.99 Euros.
Lavatory
Liquid hand wash in sachets
Landing in Madrid
View during approach to Madrid
We landed in Madrid Airport at 2:51pm and reached our gate 5 minutes later.
Right after deplaning, a staff directed us (those flying to the US and Africa) to a bus downstairs. There was no separate bus for business class passengers so we had to wait until the bus was full, which was at around 3:17pm.
CONCLUSION
The business class seats intra-Europe being offered by most airlines including Iberia do not really bother me since I am a small guy and as long as the seat beside me is vacant, it´s okay. I thought it would have been better if they had a menu card. On the other hand, it was good for the environment 👍 I thought the service was friendly and of course, the pasta I got was very good. Overall, a very nice flight.
