Exploring the Area

The hotel is located just opposite Hanoi Station.

This Hanoi Train Street is also walking distance from the hotel.

CONCLUSION

This is our first time to stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel and I would say the hotel is pretty much like the Hampton Inns where a breakfast buffet is included although the offering is basic. Also, the rooms are modern but the hand sink is outside the bathroom. This is a cheaper alternative to the Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi where we stayed the following day. The location is very convenient if you are arriving or departing from the train station, otherwise the area has not really much to offer and the noise from the station could be a problem. Overall, a basic and modern hotel with friendly staff and can be very good if you get a cheap rate.
