Me and The White House
Having visited New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta in the past, it was time to visit Washington DC. During our 3 night stay here, we were able to visit The White House, the US Capitol Building, a couple of Smithsonian Museums and the Library of Congress among others. In case you are traveling to Washington DC, here are some of my travel tips.
Trip from Europe to the US via Asia flying Qatar Airways Qsuite & Cathay Pacific First Class
In 2014, I did two round-the-world trips, flying Asiana Airlines, Lufthansa and British Airways first class using miles. This year, I´m doing it again although it will be a bit different. I will fly from Europe to the US via Asia and will take the same route on the way back so it won´t really be a complete round-the-world tour. I´m flying Qatar Airways business class and Cathay Pacific first class (thanks to the mistake fare) so I´m really looking forward to a trip full of jet lag but nevertheless fun!

Having visited New York a few times, we decided not to spend the whole 5 days of our US vacation in the Big Apple but instead go somewhere else. In the end, we decided to spend 3 nights in Washington DC since neither I nor Mike has been there. As both of us found out, there are countless museums to explore in the city, they are one of the best we´ve seen and they are free to enjoy. In case you are traveling to Washington DC, here are some of my travel tips.
There are a lot of museums in the Smithsonian Museums Washington DC which you can visit if you have the time 😉
