Last month, I was able to visit Podgorica for the first time where I spent two nights at the beautiful Hilton Podgorica. The city itself is small so visiting the tourist attractions is easy. On my first day, I visited the Old clock tower, the Petrovic Castle, Osmanagic Mosque and the King's Park. On my second day, I headed to the Independence Square, Mayor's Office of the capital city, Millenium Bridge, Old Ribnica River Bridge and the Orthodox Temple of Christ Resurrection. Sadly, the Natural History Museum of Montenegro was closed. In case you are traveling to Podgorica, here are some of my travel tips. Please feel free to comment of your own travel tips on the comment section below.

Old Clock Tower

King's Park

Natural History Museum of Montenegro

Osmanagic Mosque

Moraca River

Petrovic Castle (I learned that the Prince of Montenegro lives on the second floor).

Art Museum (near the castle where the ticket to the castle is also valid here).

Gallery of Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro (the ticket to the castle is also valid here on the same day).

Independence Square

Orthodox Temple of Christ's Resurrection

Mayor's Office of the Capital City

Millenium Bridge

Old Ribnica River Bridge

Aside from enjoying the local food from the breakfast buffet at the Hilton Podgorica, I had a chance to try the Montenegro Burger at the Har Rock Cafe Montenegro which included a local ham/prosciutto and cheese.
