Hotel Exterior

The hotel is located a few minutes from the BTS Asok station which was very good for commuters like me. It was built in 2003 and operated as Pullman Bangkok (among others) before being a Hilton hotel in 2024.

Reception & Lobby

I arrived at the hotel around 3pm and was helped by a friendly associate who informed me that I was upgraded to an executive room as a diamond member. She also gave me the welcome letter with all the infos I needed especially my access to the Executive Lounge on the 24th floor.

Executive Room 2502

The room was spacious and had almost all I needed (they did not have USB outlets). The pillows were not the very good quality pillows I am used to and I could still hear some noise from the street on the 25th floor. Still, a nice bedroom with comfortable bed.

CONCLUSION

I had originally booked the Hilton Hotel Suvarnabhumi since I was arriving late in the afternoon and had a flight the next day to Manila. Sadly, they would be closed for renovations due to severe flooding that hit Bangkok the past days. I thought the hotel was nice although it was already showing its age. I liked the food and drinks offering in the Executive Lounge. Sadly, the pool was small. The breakfast area for diamonds was a very positive thing especially when you are able to order from the ala carte menu. As usual, all the staff I had contact with were friendly. I think that this is a cheaper option instead of the Conrad Bangkok and Millenium Hilton Bangkok.
