Saudia Al Fursan Lounge Domestic Jeddah

It was my first time to visit the Saudia Al Fursan Lounge (domestic) in Jeddah and thought it was a nice lounge.

Aircraft, Airbus A321NX (HZ-ASAG)

This aircraft is really new, just 1.9 years old.

Boarding, Gate A15b

I left the lounge at 6:10pm for the 7pm departure. It was about an 8 minute walk from the lounge. At 6:20pm, boarding began.

Business Cabin

The business cabin is in a 2-2 configuration with a total of 20 seats.

My seat 2A is a window seat.

Personal screen

The movie selection from Beyond is impressive for a domestic flight. Of course, they do not change their selection so this is the same found on long haul flights.

Is this a card reader for payments?

They do have wireless charging which is cool.

Under the right armrest is the IFE controller. Then further below is the headphone socket and AC and USB A and C power outlets.

For my drinks, I had the smoothie which was very good. I enjoyed it together with some nuts. A towel was also offered.

Take Off

Pushback was at 7:05pm and take off was att 7:18pm.

Dining

The flight attendant working in the business cabin came to take meal orders before take off. I decided to have the beef and a glass of RossiNo for drinks.

At 7:36pm, my RossiNo was served. It was poured in front of me which was impressive.

Moments later, dinner came and was served on a tray. It had the mezze duo, garden salad, bread, beef brisket and pistachio labaniya. The beef was very good 👍

To end the meal, I had some green tea which was served with a Patchi chocolate and a refreshing towel.

Lavatory

There was one lavatory located in front of the cabin. It had the modern design just like the rest of the plane.

Landing in Riyadh

We landed in Riyadh at 8:30pm and reached our gate 13 minutes later.

CONCLUSION

I first saw this cabin when I flew with Saudia from Dubai to Jeddah in economy class last year. After exactly a year, I got to try this impressive business seats. I love the modern design and all the seat functions. There was even a tap sign for credit cards although I am not sure if they were using it. The crew were fantastic as usual and the beef brisket was perfect. Overall, it was a very nice flight and I hope Saudia could have more of this on other routes.
