Last week, I had the chance to visit Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It was a last minute trip but went perfectly well as I was able to book a half-day city tour and luckily had a lovely flight attendant from American Airlines joined the tour as well. We made 6 stops which I thought were the top sights in the city: Curzon Hall, Shahid Minar, Lalbag Fort, Dhakeshwari Temple, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Royal Palace and the Sadarghat River Port. We also got the chance to take a boat ride, and lastly a rickshaw ride. Dhaka is definitely a tourist destination but it was worth visiting once in a lifetime!
