This sculpture in the middle of the lobby "portrays a faceless worker climbing a ladder, symbolizing the pursuit of success through political engagement and empowerment."

This reminds me of the oculus of the Pantheon in Rome.

The lobby seating area was chic with nice paintings albeit small.

Check-in

We arrived at the hotel around 12 noon and was helped by Cleopatra. Since our room was not ready yet, she gave us the keys to the Executive Lounge so that we could get some drinks and were told we would get an sms from the hotel when the room is ready (which unfortunately we never received). Since we were planning to have lunch and do some sightseeing anyway, we left our luggage at the Concierge and left.

Around 3pm, I passed by the reception to ask if our room was ready and voila, we got room 310. Sadly, there was no upgrade as a diamond.

CONCLUSION

Having stayed at many Conrads before, I was really excited that we would finally be able to stay here.  The location is one of the best in London as it very close to the Westminster Abbey and other London attractions. I was really impressed that the Executive Lounge also had a toilet/shower as it would surely benefit those guests checking out late and need to have a shower. The breakfast buffet offering was in par with most 5 star hotels we have stayed at.

For the great location, Monty bulldog (for my collection) and the good offering in the Executive Lounge and the breakfast restaurant, this hotel is highly recommended 👍
