CONCLUSION

We spent our last night in Sri Lanka in Colombo and we stayed at the Hilton Colombo Residences which I think is one of the best hotels in the city. There is also the Hilton Colombo which is about a 5 minute drive and which I actually booked first, but after seeing the promo at the Residences, I immediately changed my booking to this hotel. As far as I know, there are only a few floors which have the newly renovated rooms and we stayed in the room on one of those floors and I have to admit, I really loved it. On the other hand, I thought the price for the room was expensive if you compare it to the hotels in Europe and to think that breakfast was not included here. There is free wifi in the lobby which we were able to take advantage of. One thing I noticed was that using the elevators could be difficult at times as they stop too often (lots of guests using them) and somethimes it would take a long time to reach your room on the top floor. Overall, a very nice hotel which I would highly recommend.
