Turkish Airlines Lounge

We had enough time to enjoy the lovely Turkish Airlines Lounge and it´s offering so we were happy with our transfer!

Coffee and cakes from Demel 😋

We were also eligible to have a private suite (free for business class passengers having 8 hours transfer in Istanbul, from a long haul flight or connecting to a long haul flight).

Last December, the UEFA Champions League section was not opened yet so it was cool to see it finally this time 👍

Aircraft, Airbus A321 NEO (TC-LTO)

Our ride to Stockholm (left aircraft) which flew earlier from Salzburg.

Boarding, Gate F12B

It was a long walk from the lounge to the boarding gate sadly. Boarding was scheduled at 2:10pm for the 3:10pm departure but it started at 2:47pm.

Business Class Cabin

The business cabin is in a 2-2 configuration from rows 1-5 with a total of 20 seats. On this flight, 15 of the seats were occupied.

Seat, 3A

My seat 3A is a window seat. It was comfortable and legroom was spacious. There were power ports too.

I have flown on this same aircraft in September 2022 so I will just concentrate more on the meals and service.

Pre-Departure Beverage & Headphones

Mike had the lime mint while I opted for apple juice.

Also, the business class headphones were handed out moments later.

Dining

Moments after serving the drinks, we were offered the menu card.

Menu

Beverage list

Lunch

Smoked salmon , cheese, dessert

Bread

For my main course, I chose the swordfish which was very good. The other choices were chicken and pasta.

A cup of tea to end the meal.

Lastly, a packaged hazelnut were offered. I wish they would offer some chocolates instead like in Lufthansa, Swiss, etc.

Lavatory

The lavatory had the usual Molton Brown amenity.

Airshow & Wifi

Airshow enroute Stockholm

Wifi is free for business class passengers 👍

Landing in Stockholm

We landed at 4:48pm and reached the gate 13 minutes later.

CONCLUSION

It was a surprise to have the A321 NEO on this flight as the most common aircraft Turkish Airline uses on this route is their A320. As usual, the service was okay, nothing special. The food was very good especially the main course. Wifi was also offered on this flight which was a plus. Overall, a nice flight as the seats were comfortable and modern and the dining experience was lovely 😉
