Turkish Airlines A320 Business Class, Stockholm to Istanbul

Trip to the Philippines & Malaysia Flying Turkish Airlines Business Class

Introduction

Earlier this year, we were able to take advantage of the good airfare from Turkish Airlines in business class from Sweden to Hong Kong. For this flight we only paid about 2000 USD. Since we were visiting the Philippines and Malaysia, we flew in economy class but was able to visit the first class lounges in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur as we had OneWorld emerald status. This trip will surely be a very exciting one with lots of hotel reviews and some tour of the lounges we visit 😉

Check-in, Stockholm Arlanda Airport 

Check-in desks for Turkish Airlines were located in Zone 4. I arrived a bit early as they open 3 hours before departure so I waited for like 15-20 minutes. Once they opened, all went smoothly.

SAS Gold Lounge

After using fast track, I went directly to the SAS Gold Lounge. The food offering was actually pretty good, they had Christmas ham, prins korv, köttbullar, 2 kinds of soups, Ris a la Malta, glögg and some gingerbread cookies.

Boarding, Gate D19

Boarding started at 1:56pm beginning with families with children and then those in business class.

Business Class Cabin

The cabin consisted of seats from rows 1 to 4 in a 2-2 configuration. Only 5 of the 16 seats were occupied on this flight.

Everything was served in a tray: the appetizer was very good.

I was also offered some bread.

The seafood potpourri was excellent 👍
