CONCLUSION

The Hilton Cologne (used to be the Post Office and Postal Savings Bank) is the perfect hotel if you are thinking of location as it is just steps away from the Cologne Cathedral and the Hauptbahnhof where we arrived from Dusseldorf. Our room even had a lovely view of the cathedral. As for the rooms, they are modern and included USB-A and C ports by the bedside table and still and sparkling bottles of water. Sadly, here are no Nespresso machine in the room. The fitness center and the sauna area were nice touches. We also appreciate that we got complimentary drinks voucher (since they do not have an executive lounge) although a lounge in the future would always be welcomed. The breakfast buffet offering was extensive and of very good quality, and the separate area for gold and diamond members was also very much appreciated. For the price we paid, it was really worth it and we would highly recommend it to everyone 👍
