Hilton Florence Metropole
We arrived at the hotel around 3:30pm and was immediately helped by an associate. It took sometime to make a copy of our passports but it went well in the end. We were assigned an executive room on the 13th floor.
The king bed was big and comfortable as expected.

CONCLUSION
We stayed at the Hilton Florence Metropole for one night during our visit to Florence, after staying at the Anglo American Hotel Florence, Curio Collection the night before. This hotel is actually located outside of the city. Although the past reviews I've read said there was a hotel shuttle from the Firenze S M Novella Station, that is no longer the case. If you are coming from the train station, you have to take the Tram 1 first and then take the courtesy van to the hotel. Although the location is not perfect, we still had a great stay here. The staff were friendly, the room upgrade we got was nice, as well as the welcome amenity. Also, the food offering in the Executive Lounge during happy hour was enough for a dinner. Breakfast buffet offering in the main restaurant was also good. Lastly, the whirlpool was much appreciated. Overall, a very nice hotel 👍
