Exploring Vienna

Schonbrunn Palace

Trip to Vienna, Venice, Florence and Rome

Vienna is like our third home (with Stockholm being the first and Cebu being the second). For me, a visit to Vienna is never complete without visiting the St. Stephen's Cathedral. I've visited most of the main attractions in Vienna during my previous visits here so we just took it easy and did not plan much as to what we would see. Below are some photos from our trip:

St. Stephen's Cathedral

Aida Cafe

Prater is a must visit when in Vienna 👍

And everytime we visit Prater, we always dine at Schweizerhaus and always enjoy their stelze, a huge pork knuckle (or schweinshaxe in Bavaria).

Schonbrunn Palace

Naschmarkt: with nice restaurants, shops, fruits and vegetable stalls

Goldenes Haus

Secession

Spittelau incinerator designed by Hundertwasser

Stadtpark

Kleines Cafe: located in Francizkanerplatz, it is one of the first restaurants designed by Hermann Czech.

Inside Kleines Cafe

Alte Donau

Enjoying Wiener Schnitzel (this one is from Fuhrgassl-Huber)

Another thing we never miss when in Vienna is visiting the Eissalon Schwedenplatz 👍

Demel (with lovely views of the Cathedral). The Turkish Airlines Lounge in Istanbul is my go to place when I need some Demel cakes 😋
