London Heathrow Terminal 5

This was during the period where the security staff had the 10-day strike although it felt like it was a normal day as we were able to use fast track and most passengers in economy had a pretty normal queue.

British Airways Galleries First

The appetizer from the ala carte menu was Ranch wedge with soya bacon bits and Crispy onions which was very good 😋

The Airbus A320 had the registration number G-EUYE which had flown from Mallorca earlier.

The business class cabin was from rows 1-11 in a 2-2 configuration with the middle seat being blocked as usual.

A few minutes after we pushed back, the captain came over the PA to inform us that something got stuck and it had to be removed from the aircraft. It took awhile but in the end, we finally got a go signal for take off 😉

Some drinks (Heineken beer and apple juice) and snacks to start with

The chicken Thai yellow curry with steamed rice tasted very good 😋 although I thought the salad was mediocre. The other choices were Lentil Pie and Salmon Salad although the crew told us that they had Prawn salad and what was written on the menu was incorrect 😉

Lastly, we were offered some coffee and tea and I requested for a cup of chamomile tea.

We landed in Stockholm at 8:08, an hour behind schedule. Still, with friendly crew and good food, it was a nice flight.
