The bathroom was large enough and the toilet had bidet function. Toiletries were from Elemental Herbology.

The fitness center on the 1st floor is open 24 hours. 

There is also a kid´s zone in the lobby area and a business center on the 1st floor.

Cenang Beach is a public beach near the hotel.

The Chenang Night Market is also nearby and Duty free outlets are everywhere since Langkawi is a designated duty-free island.

CONCLUSION

We booked 3 nights at the Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang thru hotels.com with a nightly rate of about 105USD with breakfast. The location is nice although you have to cross the street to get to the public beach. The rooms were nice and the breakfast buffet was also very good. The outdoor pool looked great although we did not try it. There are lots of restaurants nearby including a mall just steps from the hotel. Overall, a nice hotel to stay at when in Langkawi.
