CONCLUSION

Flying from Oslo to Svalbard, I thought all the while that it would be a domestic flight. Interestingly, Svalbard is not part of the Schengen (and although a territory of Norway, all flights going there are considered international). So when we headed to the Domestic Area of the Terminal, we were surprised to see our boarding passes were declined, with the screen informing us that we had an international flight. An agent also confirmed the case to us, so with only 15-20 minutes left before boarding, we headed directly to the SAS Business Lounge in the Schengen Area. The flight was okay, again the seats are economy seats (no blocked middle seats), and the meal offered which was roasted beef with potato salad was also good but nothing special. The crew were friendly as usual. Overall, a nice flight.
