Location: Terminal 3 transit area, Level 2 Gates F Access: Business Class passengers on a Star Alliance flight; Star Alliance Gold card holders and Senator card holders Opening hours: 5:30am to 7pm
During my visit in July 11, 2021, the Senator Lounge was closed so Star Alliance Gold members together with business class passengers were both using the (adjacent) Business Class Lounge. In March 16, 2021 Austrian switched from DO&CO Catering to DoN Catering for their lounges at Vienna Airport although they decided to continue with DO&CO for their inflight catering which seemed to be a smart decision. The significant change I noticed was that the hot food items that were only available from lunch time until about 2 or 3pm had been offered all throughout the day, or at least until we left the lounge at 5pm which is a big plus 👍 They also offer their own DoN red wine (I did not check the white wine) among others. As for the quality of the food being served and items being offered, it was hard to notice any difference, considering that it was also during COVID times. Buffet Area
There are two buffet areas adjacent to each other. This one offers hot dishes (served to your plate by a staff most of the time) as well as soups, salads, bread and sandwiches.
Menu: Daily offer
Vegetarian sandwiches

Bread, rolls and jams
Salads: Cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and rocket. The fennel salad with cucumbers and honey mustard dressing is replaced by another salad.
Topfenstrudel (apfelstrudel was offered instead) and Zwetchenkuchen (Plum Cake) 😋

The other buffet area offered mostly drinks like wine, spirits, beers, coffee, tea, juices and softdrinks.

DoN wines, Small Hill red and white wines from Austria selling for about 10 Euros per bottle. There is also a sparkling wine.
