Exploring Bali
I stayed four nights in Bali and since I was alone, I thought I would stay at a simple hotel in Legian which is close to Kuta and then hire a private car with a driver for 10 hours and see the essentials of Bali. I paid about 52 US dollars for the tour which was reasonable, I guess.
During my stay in Bali, I stayed at the Jocs Boutique Hotel in Legian, a very nice hotel with friendly staff. The nightly rate was about 40 US dollars which was a very good price since it included breakfast and they had complimentary wifi connection in the room as well.
The Mother Temple of Besakih is about 2 hours drive from the hotel where I was staying. I have seen pictures of the temple a lot of times but seeing it for real is unbelievable.

Mother Temple of Besakih
I came just in time to witness the ceremony in the temple starting with this dance 😍
Rice fields in Klungkung.
For lunch, we made a stop at the Artha Agung Resort and Restaurant. They had lunch buffet for about 10 US dollars excluding drinks.
They have a terrace where you can sit and have your lunch and have a great view of Mount Agung, the highest mountain in Bali.
Next stop was the beautiful Bukit Jambul Ricefields.
Kertha Gosa Pavilion, first built in the early 18th century, is a perfect example of Balinese architecture.
Inside the Kertha Gosa Pavilion
The ceiling of Kertha Gosa painted in traditional Balinese style called wayang.
And of course, the Kuta Beach 😍
After having a wonderful stay in Bali, it was time to return to Europe via Singapore. I knew I would be getting the excellent service and very good food on this flight since Singapore Airlines is really known to be consistent with their soft product.
Denpasar Airport (DPS)
I didn't know that the international terminal is much more beautiful compared to the domestic one. I came from Jakarta to Bali a few days ago so it was my first time to be at the international terminal.
Check-in, Desk C11 & C12
The check in counters for business class passengers were C11 and C12 and in front of me was a big family which I believe were heading to China via Singapore.
After a friendly agent has checked me in, I got my boarding pass as well as the lounge invitation.

CONCLUSION
I really love flying on Singapore Airlines because the service is always topnotch and the food is always excellent. Again, I was always addressed by my name and I guess Singapore Airlines is one of the few airlines who is consistent with that together with ANA. Though we arrived late at Singapore Changi Airport, it wasn't really a problem since my flight to Bangkok was still the morning of the following day. To the great service and excellent food, thank you Singapore Airlines 😍
