The self-proclaimed 7 star hotel, Burj Al Arab in Dubai
A few years ago, we had a chance to visit the self-proclaimed 7 star hotel of Dubai, the Burj Al Arab. Room rates start from 1500 USD, something that is impossible to afford for the majority of us. But if you still want to see the hotel´s beauty without staying, you can either book a lunch/dinner at the Al Iwan Restaurant (or any of their restaurants) or an evening cocktail/afternoon tea at the Skyview Bar. Any of these would allow you to enter the hotel and enjoy their 7-star service!

Located on the 27th floor, one can book either the afternoon tea or the evening cocktails. The bar is open from 7pm to 2am and the minimum age is 21 years old. During our visit, the minimum spend was about 68 USD per person.
We had two cocktails which was served with a tray of assorted nuts 😉
I settled for a non-alcoholic drink, Merryberry 😉 while Mike had an alcoholic drink.
