Having visited Kuala Lumpur a lot of times, the Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur North is probably one of the cheapest hotels I´ve stayed at. The area might not be the best there is but the rooms are nice, the staff are helpful and you have complimentary access to the outdoor pool of the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur South.

How to get here: From the Airport, take the Airport Express to KL Sentral, then take the monorail to Chow Kit. The hotel is a few minutes walk from there.
