CONCLUSION
The Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge in Bangkok Airport opened in May 11, 2017 making it one of the newest lounges in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport together with Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge and Qatar Airways Premium Lounge. As a Star Alliance member airline, this means that the SilverKris Lounge is open to all business class passengers in any Star Alliance flight as well as those flying in economy but has Gold status. This is definitely very good news because the SilverKris Lounge is much better than any THAI business class lounges in Bangkok. The lounge has a modern design, with it's Home Away From Home lounge experience proving to be a success. They were slowly closing the breakfast buffet when I arrived at 9:30am and I was amazed that they simultaneously set up the buffet for lunch 👍 The food selection was extensive including the favorite Singaporean Laksa, Thai Som Tom, dim sum, fresh coconut juice and Haagen Dazs ice cream. The bar was also a big plus and with a bar tender ready to make mocktails and cocktails for you, this will surely be a favorite feature among passengers. The productivity pods are great for those needing to do some work done, and there are USB and power outlets everywhere. The lounge also has a toilet which they didn't have in the old one, although shower rooms are still missing, so you might want to head to EVA Air Lounge or a THAI Royal Orchid Lounge for that 😉 Overall, the SilverKris Lounge is a very nice lounge offering a Home Away From Home experience, great food and drinks selection and wonderful staff 😍
