My Country #69
A few weeks ago, I visited Bucharest Romania for the first time and despite the cold weather, I was able to explore and enjoy what the city has to offer. The Old Town is definitely not to be missed with all its al fresco restaurants, old church, museums, etc. I was also able to do the half day tour to Mogosoaia Palace and the Snagov Monastery where you'd find the tomb of Dracula, both of which are highly recommended. In case you are traveling to Bucharest in the future, here are some of my travel tips:
Video Tour
Palace of the Parliament (Casa Poporului): This is the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon 😍
Nicolae Ceausescu's Residence (Palatul Primaverii) A guided tour costs 45 RON.
Cretulescu Church
National History Museum: Make sure you don't miss the Romanian Treasury in the basement.
CEC Palace (Palace of the Savings Bank)
Stavropoleos Church (Biserica Stavropoleos)
Restaurant Caru' Cu Bere
Banca Nationala Romanie Building
Pasajul Villacroce
Pasajul Macca
Hanul Cu Tei
Curtea Veche
Old Court Church (Biserica Buna Vestire)
