We arrived at the airport about three hours before departure since I left my charger on the outbound flight and luckily, the airport staff found it (as per their Twitter account) so I'd emailed the Ethiopian supervisor that I'd pick it up when I check in. Thanks so much guys 😍
Check-in
Business class and status members check-in desk
Although the economy class check-in desk was already opened, we had to wait until a staff arrive in the business class check-in desk. Luckily, it didn't take long and after a few minutes, we were given our boarding passes to Stockholm as well as the Zanzibar Dhow Lounge invitation. We were then asked to fill up the immigration form before heading to the immigration desk.

Boarding
Around 2:55pm, we left the lounge and went to the gate downstairs. About 10 minutes later, boarding started and since we were flying in business class, we had priority boarding as well as a separate bus to the aircraft 👍

This time around, there was no aircraft change and we had the scheduled Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Addis Ababa.
Cabin
The business class cabin has a total of 24 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. It was not full departing from Zanzibar but it eventually was fully loaded from Kilimanjaro.

One interesting thing about this Dreamliner is that there is an ottoman and the seats are almost fully flat unlike the one we flew with from Stockholm to Addis Ababa a week before.
A few moments after settling in, we were offered some bottles of mineral water, and then some newspapers.
Minutes later, predeparture drinks were served, the choices being a glass of orange juice and champagne (Canard Duchene).
Mike had a glass of bubbly while I declined. Hot towels were also offered a little later. A welcome announcement was made informing us that there will be a drinks service on the short flight to Kilimanjaro.

Pushback was at 3:38 and by that time, the safety video started to play.
Around 4pm, drinks order were taken which was served with some cookies and roasted corn 😉
Landing at Kilimanjaro Airport
This flight makes a stop in Kilimanjaro to pick up passengers, and after boarding had completed, the whole business class cabin was full. While on the ground, we had to refuel and the cabin attendants reminded the passengers not to have seatbelts on.
A few minutes after take off (around 5:40pm), the captain came on the PA to announce (among other things) that we were passing Mount Kilimanjaro and that we could see it to our right side 😍😍

Minutes later, the light snack service started, with Belem, one of the flight attendants working in the business class cabin offering the menu card. She also addressed me by my name which was impressive and something I did not experience on my previous flights.

Table was also set up moments later and drinks were also offered. I settled for a glass of passion fruit juice 😉
Both Mike and I chose the lamb for our main course and we were not disappointed as it was delicious 😋 Unfortunately, the bread was really hard 👎

Around 7:19pm, we were ready for landing and six minutes later, we landed at Addis Ababa Airport although it was not a smooth landing, pretty much like how we landed in Kilimanjaro Airport. By 7:33pm, we reached the gate and immediately headed to the Ethiopian Cloud Nine Lounge 2.
CONCLUSION
Overall, it was a nice flight as the seats were comfortable and the food was very good especially the lamb. Unfortunately, the meal service from Kilimanjaro to Addis Ababa was sort of stressful as it took time to serve all 24 passengers and there were only two flight attendants plus one in the galley taking care of it. The bread served was also very hard, I wonder it would have been best to not offer them at all 😉 On the plus side, Belem was such a nice flight attendant always addressing me by my name and always with a smiling face. It was a nice flight overall, although there are still some things to be improved.
