CONCLUSION
As there is only one Hilton property in Bratislava, choosing which hotel to stay at became easy for us. The Double Tree by Hilton Bratislava is not in the city center so you would need to take a bus to get there although it is fairly cheap if you prefer taking a taxi, and the bus ride is not really that long either. Being able to check in early (around 12noon) was a very positive thing and I was also welcomed as a Diamond member during the check-in process. We were assigned a very nice room on the 7th floor and got a welcome amenity as well which consisted of a chocolate dessert. I thought the hotel amenities were impressive as they have a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor pool, sauna, relax area and a business center. The hotel is steps away from the Onderj Nepela Arena so I would guess the hotel is the very popular for those coming out of town and visiting Bratislava to watch an ice hockey match. As for the breakfast buffet, the choices were extensive and had almost everything I could ask for.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and for the price we paid (I used 10,000 Hilton points which is more or less equivalent to 47 Euros), this hotel is highly recommended when in Bratislava.
