Trip to New Zealand & Flying with the King of Sweden on my 100th Flight in Business Class
Earlier this month, I was able to explore New Zealand, thanks to Singelresor. We flew with Emirates to Christchurch where we explored the South Island; then took the ferry boat to North Island and after visiting Wellington, Rotorua and Auckland, flew back home. As I had enough Emirates Skywards miles, I decided to upgrade my flight from Dubai to Stockholm in Business Class where I also had the chance to see King Gustav of Sweden as he was seated in front of me! I've flown 99 times in business class prior to this flight so this flight was actually my 100th time to fly in business class. Here are some reviews of the hotels we stayed at, as well as the top attractions we visited while in New Zealand, the land of the Kiwis!

CONCLUSION
Last week, we (the Singelresor group) spent two nights in Auckland before flying back to Sweden and stayed at the beautiful Amora Hotel Auckland. This is actually the only 4-star hotel we stayed at and it was really worth it. The room I got was very nice with a kitchen and a private balcony. The view of the Sky Tower from my room was simply unbeatable. The location is also very ideal as it is very close to Queen Street which is the main street and it is about 10-15 minute walk to the Sky Tower. The breakfast buffet offered an extensive selection and the outdoor pool was also a big plus. The only thing I would have asked for was unlimited complimentary wifi since 1 hour is simply not enough. Of course, one can always buy the 24 hour wifi for 10 NZD which is also reasonable as the connection is very fast or simply use the PC at the business center. Overall, this is a very nice 4-star hotel with nice rooms, friendly staff and nice location.
