CONCLUSION
In the past, I have only visited the Star Alliance and One World lounges in the US so I was actually excited to visit the Delta Sky Club at JFK Airport last week. Of course, I have visited the Alitalia Michelangelo Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 a few years ago but since it wasn't their hub airport, there was nothing much special about it. I have to say, I was really impressed with the Delta Sky Club as it has a very modern design with lots of seating space and that the food selection on the buffet was much better than I expected. I've read about their "Sky Deck", a stylish outdoor terrace with great views of the runways but unfortunately, I was not able to visit it. The weather in New York was really cold during my visit which was not the best time to stay outdoors but hopefully, I could enjoy it next time. There were also lots of staff making sure that all tables were cleared and everything was okay. I would have wanted to try their shower suite but I just didn't have the time. Overall, this lounge is one of the nicest lounges I have been to in the US and is definitely worth a visit if you have access.
