Kota Kinabalu Airport
Malaysia Airlines Business Class Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur check in counter
We arrived at the airport about 2 hours before departure, with the business class check-in counter staffed by a friendly agent who could speak a little Filipino. Moments later, I was given my boarding pass, headed to the immigration and security control, and finally to the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge.

Cabin
The business class cabin has a total of 16 seats with a 2-2 configuration. On this flight, 6 out of 16 seats were taken. Interesting that the boarding music was "Beauty and the Beast".

Inside the seat pocket, there were newspapers (either Newstraitstimes or Star), safety on board card and magazines. As soon as the six passengers were seated, Amelia, one of the cabin attendants came with cold towels and afterwards came with a tray of different juices. Among the choices were orange juice, apple juice and guava juice.

Dining
Malaysia Airlines Business Class Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur lunch
For the main course, the choices were chicken, fish or noodles. I ended up choosing fish and it was very good.
Malaysia Airlines Business Class Kota Kinabalu-Kuala Lumpur appetizer
Coffee and tea were also offered although I declined and after the meal service, hot towels were distributed. Since it was Valentines Day, I was expecting to see some sort of celebration but didn't see any sign so I asked Amelia about it. I was informed that they don't celebrate Valentine's Day since they are Muslims and it is against their religion.

CONCLUSION
This was another great flight on Malaysia Airlines even if the flight was a short one. The service was friendly and attentive at the same time. I was always offered refill of drinks and the food tasted very good. To all the crew on this flight specially to Amelia, Terima Kasih 🙇
