Amenities
The pool towels are located to the right of the reception (going out to the pool).
They also have Columbus-branded items on display around the lobby. I ended up buying the bear for my collection.
The hotel also has a complimentary city shuttle that you can book thru the concierge. We did not try it as we decided that exploring the city with public bus was much better.

CONCLUSION
Staying overnight in Monte Carlo has never crossed our minds, considering how expensive the city is. But thanks to the Columbus Hotel which became a part of Hilton´s Curio Collection almost 2 years ago, we were able to do just that. The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from the Place d'Armes where the Airport bus from Nice dropped us off. The room we got was modern and from the terrace, we had lovely views of the Roseraie Princesse Grace, the Chapiteau de l'Espace Fontvieille and a little of the Mediterranean Sea. The welcome amenity consisting of 2 bottles of gin and tonic water was very much appreciated by Mike. We did not have the time to use the outdoor pool but it looked very nice from the outside. The breakfast buffet offering (although not as extravagant as the other buffets we have seen) had a very good offering and the items were of high quality. The a la carte (extra charge) was something we did not need. Exploring the tourist attractions was easy since we could take a bus to the palace, cathedral, etc. and then just walk down on the way back. Overall, we really had a wonderful time staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone.
