After spending two nights in Amsterdam, it was time to visit the diamond capital of the world, Antwerp. We were really excited to visit Antwerp as it was our first time here. During our two nights stay, we visited the Cathedral of our Lady (with a guided tour), Grote Markt where the Antwerp City Hall and Brabo´s Monument are located, Het Steen, Museum Plantin-Moretus, Rubens House and more. In case you are traveling to Antwerp, here are some of my travel tips!
Inside the Cathedral of our Lady
Nello and Patrasche Statue
Antwerp Central Station
Het Steen, a medieval fortress where you can visit The Antwerp Story for 7 EUR.
St. Paul´s Church (sadly, it was closed during our visit so plan your visit ahead to see the works of Rubens among others)
St. Charles Borromeo Church from the 1600th century.
St. Charles Borromeo Church
Rubens House (the house is actually closed for renovation but you get to see some informative presentation on the lower level plus a visit to the garden).
Museum Plantin-Moretus
St. Paul´s Church (sadly, it was closed during our visit so plan your visit ahead to see the works of Rubens among others)
