LOT Business Lounge, Polonez

After arriving in Warsaw from our LOT flight from Stockholm, we headed directly to the LOT Business Lounge Polonez. The food offering was very good as usual as you would expect from Do&Co.

LOT Business Lounge, Mazurek

After an hour or so, we left the Polonez lounge, cleared passport immigration at the Non-Schengen and went to the Mazurek Lounge which is nearer to our boarding gate.

Aircraft, B737 (SP-LWA)

This B737-800 just flew from Hurghada.

Boarding, Gate 10N

Boarding was delayed and started at 5:15pm for the 5:20pm departure.

Cabin, Business Class

The business cabin was from rows 1-2 in a 3-3 configuration where the middle seat is blocked, with a total of 8 seats. On this flight, 6 business seats were taken.

Seat, 2A

My seat 2A is a window seat.

While boarding, we were given the usual sanitizing wipes.

Pretty good legroom

Inflight magazine Kaleidoscope, Sky bar menu, Duty free shop catalogue, air-sickness bag, safety card

Foldable tray table

Pre-Departure Drinks

There was a choice between water and orange juice and I chose the former.

Dining

Unlike the flight from Stockholm to Warsaw where there was a small menu card, there was none here.

First, we were offered some drinks and served with a packaged cashew nuts.

Apple juice and cashew nuts

Then, it was time for dinner. Everything was served in a tray: salmon tartare, salad, chocolate cake and then bread was offered. For the main course, there was a choice between beef or Polish dumpling Pierogi. Mike chose the dumpling while I had the beef.

My beef was very good, thanks to Do&Co 😋

Mike had the usual bubbly while I had my apple juice.

LOT business class coffee cup.

We were also offered some packed chocolates 👍

To end the meal, I had a cup of green tea.

Lavatory

The lavatory was located on the left side behind the cockpit.

Extras

The crew also offered some blankets and pillow, which was appreciated.

About an hour before landing, the crew asked if we wanted to have more drinks, I settled for a bottle of sparkling water.

Entertainment

There were no personal screen on this aircraft but one could use LOT entertainment WIFI to connect your own device and watch some films.

Watching "Barbie" 👍

Landing in Cairo

Before landing in Cairo, the crew distributed the Arrival card and pen.

We landed in Cairo Airport at 10:12pm, 8 minutes ahead of schedule and reached our gate at 10:24pm.

CONCLUSION

Overall, it was another lovely flight with LOT in business class. Of course, a bigger aircraft with better seats where you can recline better could have been better, but for a 4-hour flight, it was okay. I understand that LOT only has B737s to use for regional flights. To be able to stream films to my own device was a big plus. With friendly crew, delicious meals and for the price we paid, it was very much worth it 👍
