Visiting Smögen During the Pandemic

Smögenbryggan in Bohuslän, Sweden

I´ve never been to Smögen (a town located in the west coast) before so when Mike suggested we travel there by car in late October, I did not hesitate. The place is really popular among tourists during summer and I understand why, they have the sun and sea, and of course lots of seafood 😍 We stayed here for two nights which was perfect to explore the vicinity. The hotels we stayed at had their own Covid-19 protocols and social distancing was also practiced. Here are some of the photos we took which I hope would inspire you to travel to Smögen "when everything goes back to normal".

Smögens Church

As expected, the steamed cod fish we had for dinner on our second night was excellent 😋

On the way back to Stockholm, we made a stop in Götene to have a closer look at the beautiful Husaby Church with it´s Romanesque architecture. The church is Sweden´s first Episcopal church.
