I was in Luxembourg earlier this month and as a Hilton fan, choosing a hotel to stay at was easy. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Luxembourg is the only Hilton hotel in the country. And as a diamond member, I also got an upgrade to one of their suites.

Hotel Airport Shuttle

I had requested for the complimentary airport pick up days before my arrival and was met by a friendly guy in the arrivals hall of Luxembourg Airport. Complimentary airport shuttle is available from 6am to 10pm.

In case you want to take the public bus instead, there is Bus 21 from/to the city center that stops at Parc de Léurope which is a few steps away from the hotel. Ticket for day use cost 4 EUR if I´m not mistaken.

I arrived at the hotel around 11:15am and was welcomed by a friendly associate. He informed me that the room was ready and that they had upgraded me to a suite room located on the 3rd floor. Thanks so much guys 😍

CONCLUSION

Having only a night to spend in Luxembourg, I searched for a Hilton property in the country and found the DoubleTree Luxembourg. I really appreciate that they offer complimentary airport shuttle since taking the public bus would mean a detour to the city. It was also very nice to be able to check-in earlier than usual and of course get an upgrade to one of their suites. The room was very nice and spacious and I loved that they offer a chocolate powder drink aside from the usual coffee and tea since not many hotels do that. As for the amenities, having a pool, sauna and fitness room is a big plus. All the staff I had contact with were very friendly and professional especially the receptionist and the driver. Overall, I was so happy I stayed in this hotel and really had a wonderful time even if it was just for a night.
