CONCLUSION
Last week, I was able to visit the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in the Domestic Terminal in Istanbul Airport. It was actually a long walk (from the Metro station) and once you reach the lounge section, take the elevator one level down, the receptionist will direct you to the left (for security controls) which is exclusive for business class passengers and those with Turkish Airlines Elite Plus status. Those with Elite and Classic Plus status will otherwise be directed to the right of the reception, which is the Elite Lounge. I thought the lounge was very nice although if I have to compare the food offering with Malaysia Airlines' Golden Lounge in Kuala Lumpur, I would say that the latter has a better offering. There's a media room, a business corner and mobile charging units inside the lounge although there is no shower room, or at least I did not see one. As this lounge is not connected to the main terminal, all passengers are driven in a bus to the aircraft which pretty much reminds me of the Lufthansa First Class Terminal 👍 Overall, this is very nice for a domestic lounge although the food offering could be better.
