Trip To Panama Flying in Turkish Airlines Business Class
Last month, Mike and I traveled to Panama for the first time where we stayed four nights in the beautiful capital, Panama City. We flew with Turkish Airlines in business class although we had to originate from Budapest instead of Stockholm since the fare was much cheaper starting from the Hungarian capital. Between Stockholm and Budapest, we took the direct flight on Norwegian. Since I have Diamond status with Hilton, we stayed at the Hilton Panama and Waldorf Astoria Panama where we got upgraded to a Master Suite during our stay at the Hilton Panama. We also had a chance to stay at the Radisson Decapolis Hotel which was also a nice hotel, although not as nice as the two Hilton properties we stayed at. When in Panama, you should never miss doing the Panama Canal Tour as it was definitely the highlight of our trip. Take note that they don't have tours everyday so make sure you check the availability beforehand. Our trip to Panama was one of the best trips we've had and having flown in Turkish Airlines business class, it couldn't have been better!

From the airport, we took a taxi to the hotel which costed 35 USD. From the ground floor, we took the elevator to the reception located at L2 and was greeted by a friendly male receptionist named Roberto. Upon seeing that I have Diamond status, he informed us that we could do the check in either with him or in the Executive Lounge where his colleague would help us. We stayed with him and after a few minutes, we were given our room keys with an upgrade to Executive Suite. Thanks Roberto!

From the buffet, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, salmon, toast, yogurt, cereals, muffins, assorted pastries, etc. We were offered complimentary breakfast as a Hilton Diamond member or we could also take the full breakfast in the restaurant for a fee of 22USD. We opted for the breakfast in the executive lounge as we thought they had an extensive offering.

On our last night in Panama, we stayed again at the Hilton Panama and this time, we got an upgrade to their Master Suite Executive Ocean View which was even bigger than the JR Suite 😍😍 It has a TV room, dining room and kitchen (just like the Executive Suite) plus a private balcony. Here are some pictures and a video tour of the Master Suite during our stay.

CONCLUSION
I have to say that I am really loving how Hilton treat their Diamond members. I've received so many upgrades in the past but the upgrade to the Executive Suite and Master Suite here are definitely the best upgrades we have received so far together with our stay at the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik. Of course, the staff were very friendly as always. It was a nice gesture when Adrian, the guy working in the Executive Lounge called us in the room in the evening to check if everything was okay. The food offering during afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the Executive Lounge was very good. The views from the lobby bar were simply amazing. The location is very ideal as well as it is close to shopping malls and is about 25 minute walk to the Panama Viejo historical district. The room had everything we could ask for and the fantastic view of Panama Bay from our room was perfect. To all the staff of Hilton Panama who made our stay in Panama even more memorable, Muchas Gracias! We hope to be back soon 😉
