Trip to Budapest and Berlin in February
A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Budapest and stayed there for three nights. I stayed at both Hilton properties and then on my way back to Stockholm, I spent one night in Berlin. I flew with Lufthansa via Munich in economy class so I did not include any flight reviews but I was able to visit a few lounges along the way. From Berlin, I flew on SAS in economy class but with my Star Alliance gold card, I was able to visit the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in Berlin.

CONCLUSION
Last week, I was able to visit the Lufthansa Senator Café at Munich Airport. I just love this new concept of Lufthansa as it is perfect for those who have limited time and would just want a sandwich and a cup of coffee or glass of smoothie to go with it. The size of the lounge is actually on the small side but during the whole time I was here, it never got crowded. Having visited the Senator Lounge G28 prior to my visit here, I would say that the food selection is much better and the fact that they do made to order sandwiches is really cool. Of course, they only offer sandwiches, salads and desserts here but if it is okay with you, then you are in the right place. There are power outlets almost everywhere so charging your device is never a problem. Although there is no bathroom inside the lounge, one can always use the ones in the Senator Lounge G28 which is located opposite this lounge. Overall, this is a very nice lounge and is definitely worth a visit before your flight from Munich Airport.
