Trip to Budapest and Berlin in February
A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Budapest and stayed there for three nights. I stayed at both Hilton properties and then on my way back to Stockholm, I spent one night in Berlin. I flew with Lufthansa via Munich in economy class so I did not include any flight reviews but I was able to visit a few lounges along the way. From Berlin, I flew on SAS in economy class but with my Star Alliance gold card, I was able to visit the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in Berlin.

CONCLUSION
Last week, I was in Berlin for a night and stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West. It was my first time to stay at a Hampton hotel and since it is not as the same level as Hilton, I didn't expect too much. To my surprise, the hotel was really very nice. My room was spacious with a sofa bed, wifi was complimentary and fast, and the breakfast buffet which was included in the rate had an extensive offering. The location of the hotel was also ideal since it is just walking distance to the nearest subway station and a few stations away to Alexanderplatz and other places of interest. The receptionist was also very friendly and helped me with some directions and later during the day called in my room to check if everything was okay. The bathroom may not have the individual bottles (for shampoo and lotion) found on Hilton and Double Tree hotels but its fine with me. Lastly, I was given late check-out until 1pm, thanks to Vanessa. Overall, this is a very nice hotel and for the price I paid, it is definitely worth it! To all the staff of Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West, "Danke schön!"
