Transfer Desk
Upon landing at Changi Airport, we headed to the transfer desk and got our boarding pass issued by a friendly agent. She also informed us that the "Private Room" would be closing in an hour and a half so I told her we would just try to have a quick dinner.
The Private Room
We were met by a guy at the lounge entrance and then escorted to The Private Room. Mike decided to have some salad first.
I loved the lobster I ordered the last time I was here (which was a few weeks ago) so I recommended it to Mike. Obviously, he liked it as well 👍
After our excellent dinner, we transferred to the First Class Lounge and since they do not have a slumber room, we decided to take a short nap on the couch. We were also given the Givenchy blankets.
Around 6 in the morning, after taking a shower, we decided to go back to the "Private Room" for our breakfast.

Boarding, Gate E8 Terminal 2
Our flight leaves from Gate E8 of Terminal 2 and when we arrived at the gate, there weren't many passengers yet.
First Class Cabin
The first class cabin has a total of 8 seats from rows 1 to 2 in a 1-2-1 configuration.
Seat 2C
Welcome to my first class seat, 2C 😍
Mike thought two persons could sit on this seat 😉 I have actually asked the cabin attendant on which other routes they were using this aircraft and I was told they have this on flights to Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon. We were also the only first class passengers on this flight so we had all the crew taking care of us on this flight.
Footrest
The entertainment and seat controls located on the left side of the seat.
Reading lamp and headphone jack
Kris World entertainment magazine
From the movie selection, I ended up watching "Seven Years A Slave".
We were also given the immigration and customs declaration forms.
Pre-departure Beverage
I settled for a glass of water as my pre-departure beverage. After awhile, we were also offered newspapers and magazines, hot towels and headphones.
BOSE headphones 👍
Dining
Menu card
The cabin attendant came to my seat and presented the First Class menu card and informed me that I have ordered the dimsum from the Book a Cook although if I want, I could still order something from the menu. Lovely 😍
For my drinks, I ordered a glass of apple juice. The other choices were tomato and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Fresh Fruit Plate, Bread and Butter
For starters, they had cornflakes/Weetabix with milk or plain/fruit yogurt. I chose the plain yogurt.
Singapore Nasi Lemak, Malay style coconut rice with spicy prawns, peanuts, ikan bilis, grilled fish cake, omelette and fried chicken 😋
Mike had the Singapore Nasi Lemak from the menu. The other choices were: Sen Mee Tom Yam Ruem Mit Hang or French Toast with fresh berries, kaya mascarpone and maple syrup or Fresh Eggs prepared on-board with choice of veal sausage, smoked salmon, vine ripened tomato, mushrooms and roesti potatoes.
My Dimsum from the Book a Cook. The champagnes on board was the Dom Perignon 2004 👍
Lavatory
Sink
Offered in the lavatory are lotion and perfume by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Landing in Bandar Seri Begawan

We arrived at the Bandar Seri Begawan Airport around 11:05 and after clearing the immigration and collecting our bags, we took a taxi to the Radisson Hotel where we stayed for 3 nights.
Radisson Hotel Brunei
CONCLUSION
Another great service from one of my favorite airlines. The food was excellent and the fact that I could actually order from the menu card even if I had already ordered from the Book a Cook meant that they really would do anything for their first class passengers. The seat was huge and the TV monitor had high resolution. I was always addressed by my name. And of course, being the only passengers in the cabin was so memorable. To all the cabin crew who took care of us on this flight, thanks a lot. Hope to see you again 😍
