Transfer Desk

Upon arrival at Changi Airport, I went to the Free Singapore Tour booth and the lady in charge asked for my boarding pass so she could register me for the tour later. I then went to the transfer desk  close to the booth to get my boarding pass.

SilverKris Lounge

After the Free Singapore Tour, I headed back to the Silver Kris Business class Lounge. I was able to visit the lounge in Terminal 2, as well as the one in Terminal 3. My flight to Bangkok was not until the following day although I did not book a hotel and instead I stayed in the lounge in Terminal 2 😉

Business Class Cabin

The business class cabin has a total of 30 seats with a 2-2-2 configuration and that day, about 95% was occupied.

Seat 15A

My seat 15A, was a window.

The personal TV screen was pretty large compared to other airlines. The seats do not look very new and I believe these are the same seats they have on their flights to Perth since I remember this same cabin when I traveled to Australia last year. Hopefully, I could try the new business class seats which presently are on the aircraft flying to London and Mumbai.

Pre-departure Beverage

For pre-departure beverage, they had orange juice and water and I settled for a glass of water. Hot towels and magazines/newspapers were also offered afterwards.

Dining

Business class menu card

Breakfast menu

The champagne on board was Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve which was the same as the one offered on the Bali to Singapore flight the other day.

Sliced fresh fruit, Fruit preserve, butter, Tea

Omelette with grilled bacon, semi dried tomato and potato 😋

Lavatory

The lavatory amenities included L'Occitane products 👍

Landing in Bangkok Airport

Upon landing at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, I caught site of Thai Airways Airbus A380-800.

Fast Track

I could collect my boarding pass from the transfer desk but since I wanted to experience the Thai Airways first class check-in the second time around, I decided to go to the immigration. Thanks to the express card I got from the cabin attendant, everything went very quickly.

THAI Royal First Lounge

I had more than 12 hours before my flight to Tokyo so I spent most of my time at the Royal First Lounge 😍

CONCLUSION

So it was another great experience flying with Singapore Airlines in business class. The food was okay although I guess I should have ordered the Thai meal. The service was once again impressive, with the flight attendants addressing me always by my name. The seats were also very comfortable. Once again, thank you, Singapore Airlines. Till next time 😉
