There was no formal lobby here unlike at the Le Meridien where it was really gorgeous.
Check-in
We arrived at the hotel around 2pm and was helped by a friendly associate who welcomed me as Diamond member. She informed us of the room upgrade to the Twin Executive Room, as well as the hotel amenities and the access to the Executive Lounge. Moments later, we got our room keys and were on our way to the 29th floor.

CONCLUSION
Just like the adjacent Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, the Hilton Kuala Lumpur is a 5-star hotel offering fantastic service, lovely rooms and great amenities. We had access to the Executive Lounge as I have diamond status and it was interesting to compare the offerings between the two. The Le Meridien did not offer afternoon tea so it was a plus for Hilton although the offering during evening cocktails were way better at the Le Meridien than at the Hilton. Hilton´s breakfast buffet in the main restaurant was slightly a bit better though, in my opinion. The pool and the fitness center are being shared although the fitness center and the water slide are both on the Hilton side. Overall, our stay at the Hilton was an enjoyable one and as Hilton loyalist, I would definitely stay here again when I´m back in Kuala Lumpur.

Very nice review! Just a question...do they offer Cocktails like Pina Colada in the Lounge in the evening? :-)
ReplyDeleteHi and thanks! There were wines, spirits and liqueurs on offer but there were no cocktails (and no mention of them either on the beverage list).
