Hamad International Airport
I arrived at the airport around 6:45am and headed directly to the dedicated business class check-in desks for business class passengers.
Check-in
I was helped by a friendly agent and moments later, I had my boarding pass issued.
On the way to the lounge, I had to pass by the airport's centerpiece, the Lamp Bear 🐻
Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Lounge
I had a light breakfast in the lounge and around 7:40am, left the lounge for the boarding gate.
Boarding, Gate B7

Boarding started at 7:55am with business class passengers getting priority.

Cabin
Business class cabin in a 1-2-1 configuration
On this flight, only 8 of the 22 seats were taken.
Seat 3A
My seat 3A 😉
Already waiting at my seat was the Bric's amenity kit containing a hydrating facial mist, lip balm and anti aging moisturizer from Castello Monte Vibiano, and the usual ear plug, socks and eye mask. There was also a pillow and blanket.
Qatar Airways business class blanket
Oryx inflight magazine, safety card, air sickness bag
Moments after settling in, Lovelyn from the Philippines came to my seat to introduce herself and ask for my drink and towel preference. I had the usual apple juice and hot towel.
Around 8:08am, menu cards and wine list were offered and seven minutes later, the captain came on the PA to welcome us on board, informing us of our flight time of just 5 hours and 47 minutes. A few minutes later, my meal order was taken and I chose the carrot & ginger energizer, seasonal fresh fruit and the mushroom tortellini from the light options menu, as well as green tea for my drinks. She also asked if I needed to be woken up for some hot drinks before landing, and to which I declined.
Inflight Safety Video
Around 8:20am, the inflight safety video was played on the screen, and newspapers were offered after.
Pushback began at 8:22am and by this time, Ramy the CSD from Egypt came to my seat to introduce himself and welcome me onboard. Take off was at 8:35am.

Minutes after the seatbelt sign was turned off, my Carrot & Ginger energizer was served 😋
Then, my table was set including some bread and butter, and still water.
Seasonal fresh fruit

The mushroom tortellini was fantastic 😋 I was also offered some Tabasco although I declined.
The breakfast choices included:
Traditional Arabic breakfast
Emmental cheese omelette with chicken patty
Aloo paneer tikki with jeera potato
The service was very efficient and I had always been addressed by my name. To end the meal service, a mint and hot towel were offered.
Film
From the movie selection, I watched the continuation of "Breathe". Unfortunately, the volume was still very loud even if it was set in the minimum 👎
Onboard Bar
The onboard bar had the usual champagne, fruits and snacks items.
I decided to grab a banana and a Crunchy oats and honey bar.
Around 12:25pm, with about 2 hours left before landing, Lovelyn came to my seat to offer something to eat and drink and I chose a cup of green tea. I was expecting it would be served with one of their very good chocolate cookies but I did not get any. She eventually came back and offer some cookies although I was already eating my oats and honey bar so I declined.
I also noticed that some of the passengers got the Godiva chocolates after the breakfast service (while I got none) so I asked if they still had one, and which was served with no problem 😐
Lavatory
The business class lavatory had the usual toiletries from Rituals.

Airshow
Airshow enroute to Helsinki
Around 1:36pm, hot towels were offered and 2 minutes later, the captain was back on the PA to inform us that we would start our descent in 9 minutes and that we would be landing in Helsinki at 2:20pm.
Landing at Helsinki Vantaa Airport
View before landing
Around 2pm, Lovelyn came to my seat to thank me for flying with them.
We landed at Helsinki Vantaa Airport (in a remote stand) at 2:17pm, a few minutes ahead of schedule.
Bus for business class passengers to the terminal.
CONCLUSION
This is my fourth time to fly business class on Qatar Airways B787 in a span of a week so I knew more or less what to expect 😉 I loved the fact that I could order an item from the Light Options menu for my breakfast main course as I am not a fan of omelettes, etc. The mushroom tortellini was fantastic although the Godiva chocolate and chocolate cookies which were not served properly was a minus, although they were just minor issues. Overall, I had an enjoyable flight and I really hope to be able to fly with them again, hopefully on one of their aircraft with the famous Qsuites 😍
