CONCLUSION

Needing a place to stay at during our visit to Bologna, we ended up staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Bologna North as this is the only Hilton property in Bologna. It is located a bit out of the city center although there is a public bus (93) with a stop just steps from the hotel and takes about 20 minutes. The hotel has more than 150 rooms and as a diamond member, I got an upgrade to a King room on the 1st floor. Amenities include a fitness center, laundry room, a 24-hr shop and 3 meeting rooms. There is a lobby bar and a restaurant. I thought the room was spacious and modern and the insulation was good. The breakfast offering was average and included the usual make your own waffles, made to order eggs and the Italian favorite Nutella. The staff were friendly and helpful as expected. For the price we paid, it was really worth it.
