So last May, I was able to fly again on Asiana Airlines in first class making it my third time on the South Korean carrier. You can find reviews of my first two flights with them

here so I will just be concentrating more on the food and service this time.
Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, Frankfurt Airport
Before my flight, I was able to spend time at the beautiful
Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, checking my emails and enjoying the food on the buffet.
Boarding, gate B46
Boarding started on time at gate B46, with scheduled departure at 6:30pm arriving in Seoul at 12:40nn the following day.

This is my seat for the next 10 hours or so 😊
Already waiting at my seat were the first class pillow and blanket.

Placed on the ottoman were the amenity kits containing Bulgari products and a pair of slippers as well as the headset 😊 I also got the pajamas a little later although I got a large one.
The inflight entertainment magazine, Asiana Entertainment.
As soon as I settled in to my seat, one of the flight attendants welcomed me and asked for my predeparture beverage order. Of course I chose my favorite, a glass of guava juice which came with some mixed nuts.

And now the dinner service, starting with Grissini with Coppa Ham, Beef Mozzarella Croquette with Red Pepper Coulis.
Next is the caviar. The champagnes on board were Pol Roger Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill 2000 and Charles Heidsick Millesime 2000.

For my main course, I had the Osso Bucco served with gremolata sauce, polenta, carrot and turnip. The other choices were Beef Tenderloin Steak and Pan Fried Barramundi.
While having my dinner, I was also watching the Monuments Men.
For the cheese, I had goat, cream mountain and herb.

I thought everything from the starter to dessert was phenomenal, as always 👍

Breakfast Service
About 2 hours before arrival at Incheon International Airport, breakfast was served consisting of fresh fruits, blueberry muffin, guava juice, a cup of tea ...

Arrival in Seoul Incheon Airport
We arrived in Seoul about 25 minutes ahead of schedule which was a very good thing.
CONCLUSION
I really love flying on Asiana Airlines because the service is always outstanding. The cabin attendants really take care of you and anticipate all your needs like hanging your clothes, refilling your drinks, doing the turndown service, etc. The food is phenomenal, as always. To the flight attendants on this flight to Seoul, "Kamsahamnida" and hope to see you again soon 😊
